Who should be contacted for the investigation of registration doucments?

Hello Sir/Madam,
I am planning to buy a independent house (~1000 Sq Feet) in Mahadevapura, Bangalore, but I don’t know much about the process, the owner has given us the copy of the registration docs. Now could you please tell me, what all should I do, from investigation to registration, or it is a very complex process, so I should take help from Lawyer or Real State Agent? Also how much should I pay to the lawyer/agent?

You should ask the seller to send all the papers to a local lawyer appointed by you and then pay the lawyer by cheque after getting the title report.
