What Can Be Done If The Developer Is Not Returning The Money?

Â Hello, I bought a flat and entered into an agreement with a developer. I paid 15% of the flat price. Then, the developer gave me the land documents. When i verified the documents with a lawyer, there was a problem with the land and I cancelled my flat. Its been 2 months now and the developer has not given my money back to me. What legal options do i have?

You are required to send a legal notice demanding the return of your money with interest within a specific time, failing which a simple money suit may be filed against the builder.
